Firstly please go to the Animals section. If you have a long list to search through, typing into the search box at top will pull that animal up quickly, otherwise just scroll through the list until you find it.

Then click the green pencil icon in the very first column to the left. This means "edit" and should say "Edit" when you hover over it.

This takes you to the "Animal, Edit" screen where you can change anything and everything, including the identifier. You can also add new information this way.

Click the save button at bottom, and the green "Record Updated" box will appear. You can click the "Back to List" button to return to the list of animals.
